Resolving Conflicts with Integrity

At GFN, we uphold the highest standards of collaboration in our Committees and Chapters. If you witness or experience conduct violating our Code of Ethics, please report it below. Your confidentiality is protected throughout the process.

Before submitting, ensure your report includes:

1. Committee/ Chapter Name

   e.g., "AI Ethics Committee" or "Circular Economy Committee"

2. Date & Time of Incident

   Include timezone, e.g., "15 October 2025, 14:00 HKT"

3. Attendance Count

   Approximate number of members present

4. Corroborating Witnesses

   Names of 2+ attending members who can verify the incident

5. Nature of Complaint

   Concise description, e.g., "Misuse of confidential data"

6. Code of Ethics Violation

   Specific clause(s) breached, e.g., "Section II.1: Uphold Integrity"

Special Authority for Committee Leadership

As leaders of their Committee or Chapter, Co-Chairs and Vice-Chairs have full authority to:

• Immediately ban violators from Committee and Chapter activities without Ethics Council involvement

• Issue temporary suspensions pending investigation

• Restrict access to Committee resources/ documents

To exercise this authority:

• Notify the member of their ban via GFN’s official channels

• Submit this dispute report within 24 hours for record-keeping

Submit Your Report

All reports will be:

• Reviewed within 72 hours by the GFN Ethics Council

• Handled per Article IV of our Code of Ethics

• Escalated to Membership Committee for membership-wide sanctions if needed

Confidentiality & Non-Retaliation

• Reporter identities remain protected

• Retaliation violates Section III.2 and results in immediate suspension

• False reports incur penalties under Section IV.2
