Plato Wong (Chinese name: 黃諍) serves as Principal of Advisory Services at Moore Hong Kong, where he leads sustainability advisory projects and helps clients manage their sustainability needs and respond to dynamic market conditions. He has 20 years of experience across sustainable development, finance, consulting, and education. Before joining Moore Hong Kong, he held a management position in the sustainability advisory department of a Big Four accounting firm and also worked in managerial roles at non-governmental organizations and financial institutions.
His external appointments reflect deep engagement with the ESG ecosystem in Hong Kong. He advises the CFA Institute on ESG initiatives and serves on the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Sustainability Ethics Advisory Panel, the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association ESG Executive Committee, and the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Environment & Sustainability Committee. He is also appointed as ESG advisor for the Green360 initiative, co-founded by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Digital Humanity Research Lab.
He has collaborated with regulatory bodies including Hong Kong's Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and the Financial Services Development Council, as well as global organizations such as the Carbon Disclosure Project, the World Benchmarking Alliance, and the Global Impact Investing Network. In March 2025, he moderated a panel discussion at the Greater Bay Area ESG and Green Technology Vision Forum hosted by Moore Hong Kong. In June 2026, he delivered a lecture on "Business Education in the AI Era" at Macao Polytechnic University.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. He is an EFFAS Certified Environmental, Social, and Governance Analyst (CESGA) and a Certified Environmental, Social and Governance Planner (CEP). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Guangzhou Huashang College.
