Short Bio / Excerpt:
Stacy Ho is an accomplished executive, entrepreneur, and community leader based in Hong Kong, currently serving as the Head of Hong Kong at ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Born in Montreal, Canada, she experienced a nomadic upbringing as the daughter of an entrepreneur, living across global hubs such as Bangkok, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This diverse childhood exposed her to multiple educational and cultural systems, fostering an adaptable and global mindset that would later define her multi-faceted career.
She established a highly rigorous academic foundation in the United Kingdom, graduating with Top Student Awards and First Class Honors. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Management from Manchester Business School as well as a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE). Backed by strong financial acumen, she spent years working within competitive sectors like fintech and investment consulting—even serving as a licensed representative under the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong—while continuing to expand her executive training at institutions like the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Parallel to her corporate and financial career, Ho has long been deeply passionate about education and mentorship. For well over a decade, she has operated as a elite high school SAT and exam coach, helping students master complex subjects like economics, accounting, mathematics, and business studies under curriculums like the IB, IGCSE, and GCE. Her educational contributions also include teaching public speaking and mindset coaching at specialized academic organizations like Baker and Bloom in Hong Kong, where she focuses on instilling confidence and a growth mindset in her students.
As a champion for female empowerment and tech inclusion, Ho venture into entrepreneurship by founding platforms like LearnFi and She Means Bizness. Through these initiatives, which included localized podcast and YouTube content, she actively mentored women navigating the business and startup ecosystems. Her corporate leadership reached a major milestone when she stepped into senior stakeholder roles at ICAEW, eventually rising to become the Head of Hong Kong to orchestrate member engagement, corporate ethics training, and strategic transformation across the accounting profession.
Beyond her executive and business roles, Ho is a deeply devoted philanthropist and community builder. She has notably served as the Past President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East, leading local initiatives ranging from youth connect groups to fundraising for maternal and child welfare. Known for her hands-on approach to social service, her humanitarian outreach spans from fostering children during regional emergency lockdowns to visiting and teaching at rural orphanages and community centers across Southeast Asia.
